I have just started watching How I Met Your Mother. I don’t know why I left it so late, it’s Awesome, as they say. Anyway, I have just watched the episode called ‘The Limo’, where they go out on New Years Eve in a, well duh, and Barney, one of comedy’s classic characters, can I just say, whips out a Get Psyched Mix CD.
What is a Get Psyched Mix you say, well in the words of Barney, people think that a mix should rise and then fall, but not Barney, in his eyes it should be all rise. What he means is no sad, depressing songs, just songs to get us going, raise our fists in the air to, smile when we listen to them. I thought after watching it, the man is right. We work, we blog, we have families, commitments, let us gather together and make a Get Psyched Mix to get us through the day.
