OK, lets be clear about what I mean. I get it in the sense that there is a guy named Steve walking around in graphics from 1986, but that’s it. My 7 year old son, as well as millions of other kids and truth be told adults are addicted to this. He plays on it, watches videos on it, there are even songs on it. Yes, songs. Take Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night, well that is Don’t Mine at Night. It’s actually better than the original. What I don’t get I suppose is why. I have even tried it. Steve was walking around, he used his wooden sword to chop a tree down, there were pigs walking around. And that was it. I was bored stiff. But talk to your kids and there are different realms, creatures, zombies. It is the best game ever. Please if you have kids who play on it or have never played on it , try it, you will be bored stiff. I know because I have spoken to many people who feel the same. Still, the graphics take me back to my youth.
By the way, I am going to delve into the Minecraft phenomenon on my website, trying to make it understandable to the common man. Watch a video there to see what all the fuss is about.
